CIS is a Consortium of Cooperatives, operating in the field of the large-scale food retail trade, which carries out its work of service company all over Italy. CIS was born in 1959 in Florence, where it actually has its headquarter, as a service company offering external accounting and administrative services to its cooperative partners, operating in food retail market, who hadn’t the resources to make them by themselves.

Qu.I.S.F. Department (Quality, Food safety, HSE and Education Department of CIS) offers its expertise in the environment of food quality, education, HSE and voluntary certifications. Moreover it offer a full-service e-learning system, designing and developing specific company courses and managing a dedicated web-platform.
